NOT A REVIEW
Pretty well shot and directed (as expected) with nice space management (couldn't the whole film fit in the car?).
The 100 minutes were filled to the brim with people talking about "non-things" and ideas, some events, or slightly personal elements like they were all abstract ideas of absolutely no concern, even when it was supposed to be. (Special mention to the final dialogue with Giamatti that tops them all.)
As the emotionless journeyman, Pattinson is pretty good (aside from Twilight, was he ever "bad"?). The actress playing his wife (popping up constantly in unexplainable ways) also delivers her lines very well. Too bad the journey is a cipher (to me, others probably got the allegory or metaphor or whatever behind it).
Score: ?/10 No capisco !
Enjoyment: 2/5
Thanks to Denis and Cronenberg, I learned something though: Pattinson + Binoche = ugly/laughable sexual scenes.
