Throughout the whole movie I was constantly dreading a too morally correct ending but to my great pleasure the ending left things just as bad as they were. So... I left the cinema theater deeply satisfied. The last dance was just fantastic.
The movie oscillates all the time between opposites along different axes, for example rationalism vs. passion or planning vs. letting go. The characters fight as hard as they can not to lose grip of all their social achievements, jobs, families... But inevitably their inner passions drag them to their rock bottom. Some get back from it, some don't.
All in all, a great movie, very realistic when showing what the alcohol is... Simply, a drug.
The bads: Being from a different culture is hard to show empathy for the characters at the beginning,, their seriousness, the luxuries and the solitude brings them too far away at first. A bit too long.
