Une idylle romaine

The scenes of this beautifully colored picture are laid in ancient Rome, where we see the pretty Plevian going to the well to get water, and is met by the noble young Marcus, who makes love to her. Another young woman named Patricia is desperately in love with Marcus, and when she sees him with Plevian she becomes insanely jealous, and vows vengeance.
