S26 E15 • Le Seigneur du Temps

Sur la planète Skaro, Le Maître, un seigneur du temps comme le Docteur, est jugé coupable et est condamné à être exterminé par les Daleks. Sa dernière volonté est de revenir sur sa planète d'origine, Gallifrey, accompagné par son ennemis juré, le Docteur. Ce dernier accepte et Le Maître se voit transporté jusqu'à Gallifrey dans un petit conteneur. Cependant, lors de se voyage à bord du TARDIS, le conteneur est secoué et une sorte de larve noir visqueuse en sort. Elle endommage ensuite le tableau de bord du TARDIS qui se voit obligé d'atterrir en urgence sur la Terre.
