Résumé · In 1984, celebrated filmmaker Tim Burton directed a 30-minute short film called Frankenweenie. The live-action homage to the golden age of monster films centered around Victor, a cinematically prodigious boy who places his best friend – a dog named Sparky – in the starring roles of his movies. Sparky is tragically struck and killed by a car, and a grieving Victor assembles a lab full of makeshift machines that, fed by lightning, resurrect Sparky. Now, bear witness as Sparky is reborn once again ! Tim Burton's latest full-lengh feature, the stop-motion film Frankenweenie, is a remake of that 1984 masterpiece.
