Umibouzu est de retour sur Terre, alors qu'il se promène dans la ville, il aperçoit Kagura, sa fille, en train de lire une lettre d'amour fraichement offerte par un garçon. Inquiet de l'avenir de sa fille sur cette planète, il se rend chez Gintoki, la personne censée s'occuper de sa fille en son absence.
