Peter is a success story for every comedian out there. He started in comedy but is now featured in film, on TV, and has his own production company. He's done a Comics special on CBC and voice-over jobs, he has appeared in more than thirty films, series, specials, and movies-of-the-week.

S8 E4 • Jay Malone

Jay won the homegrown competition for Just for Laughs in 2003 and continued his success with this special in 2005. He was nominated as the "Best Male Standup Comic" at the 2005 Canadian Comedy Awards. He has also appeared onComedy Inc. for 2005-2008. He is now looking into TV and film roles.

Darren is from Brantford Ontario and is a veteran of the comedy scene. He's so hardcore, he's even quit 7 times! Darren's comedy has been said to thrive on hyper-driven criticisms, dark revelation and lunacy. He has made a name for himself as one of the most daring comedians in Canada. He has won several national awards for his top-selling shows.

Ian first hit Yuk Yuk's in Toronto and Montreal. He became a regular on YTV's It's Alive and then formed a comedy troupe. He has opened for Dennis Leary, Norm Macdonald, Jon Stewart, and Lewis Black. He currently writes for Comedy Inc. and now also performs.

S8 E9 • Howie Miller

From Edmonton, Howie took the stage in 1997 at Yuk Yuk's and kept winning some of their contests. Then he opened for bigger stars and won the Homegrown Competition in Edmonton to make it onto Just For Laughs. He brings up his native heritage a lot, but its all for laughs!

Also known as "The Funny Greek", Angelo has been largely successful across North America. He's an actor/comedian, burly in size, and doesn't hold back. He has been featured in over 10 films and is now in a deal to create his own. Originally from Montreal, Angelo moved to Ottawa and started to perform variety shows in his school auditorium.

From Thunder Bay, Dave moved to Vancouver to take acting classes, all the while hitting the comedy clubs after-hours. He began to act and do comedy on the side, then switched to comedy and acting on the side. He continues to juggle his talents, and now writes for This Hour has 22 Minutes.
