Melanie stays overnight with Miffy, and Mother Bunny reads them a bedtime story. When she said goodnight, they both wish that they could read another one by themselves! At the end of the lesson the teacher asks if someone would like to read from a book and she discovers that Miffy can read very well.

It turns out that it is Poppy's snoring that is keeping her awake!
