S1 E1 • A party to remember

It's a party with the Nachtegaal family, the contracting company has been around for 30 years. Everyone is busy preparing. Meanwhile, eldest son Sjon gets into a fight with his wife Karen. And the loyalty of youngest son and professional footballer Mike is put to the test in the dressing room of FC Utrecht. While middle son Steef wants to start the party, but where is Father Akkie?

S1 E2 • With extra garlic sauce

Now that Akkie is in the hospital, Steef has to fight for the respect of the builders and show his father that he can run the business. Mike does something for Akkie but his mother Corrie catches them. Robert and Steef see their wish for children go up in smoke more and more.

S1 E3 • A jetty

Akkie comes home from the hospital and pretends nothing is wrong with him. Sjon takes care of the children for a day, but that is easier said than done. Semmie has a job interview. And Sjon and Steef discover that the company is not doing as well as they had thought.

S1 E4 • The building fraud

Mike is called up by the trainer at FC Utrecht. Akkie cannot help interfere with the company. Robert finds it difficult that he may not become a father. Something goes wrong during Steef's conversation with a major client. But if his brother Sjon helps him, he does not know whether he agrees with his methods.

S1 E5 • The paper shredder

Semmie is nervous about her first real working day and immediately makes a mistake. Akkie wants to go back to the business, but Corrie doesn't want it. Steef makes a mistake with the architect of real estate man Meulenbelt. Sjon has trouble juggling between his family, work and family. Steef asks Sjon for help with collecting a bill, what will Akkie think of that ...

S1 E6 • Nephews and pots

Mike and Semmie go out into nature with their friends. Mike is jealous of Semmie's boss. Steef asks Sjon for help, who finally concedes. This puts him in a difficult position. Steef is going out to dinner with Sasha, the architect of Meulenbelt. But Robert warns him, maybe she wants to decorate him.

S1 E7 • Épisode 7

Robert wonders if the lesbian architect might also have a wish for children. Karen decides that she still wants to change the baby room. Akkie thinks that Mike should look for a place of her own. Semmie wants to live together, but does Mike want that too? Corrie tries to get Akkie out of his dip. Is Sjon resistant to Louise's flirtation?

S1 E8 • A baby and a wish for children

Karen has to give birth, but the contractions don't get going. There is a scout at the FC Utrecht training. Semmie finds it exciting, but what will Akkie think of it? Steef and Robert have an appointment with Sasha and Judith, but this is completely out of control. After the baby is born, Sjon makes an important decision.
