S22 E1 • Episode 01

A distraught Gráinne struggles with facing the instability of David's health, but a dark bleak cloud arises over the two when Gráinne is faced with another devastating blow, leaving her vulnerable and questioning the meaning of life. It all begins to click into place with Mo, and she now realises that her traumatic encounter with Anto is all down to Colm. How long can O'Shea hide the truth about what really happened at the house the night Eric fell down the stairs? When Niamh starts asking questions, O'Shea has no choice but to lie, but how long can she keep the façade up?

S22 E2 • Episode 02

After many ups and downs between Tadhg and Maggie it is clear now that Tadhg wishes to move forward with his hidden "friendship" with Maggie. Could this be the beginning of the next Ros na Rún lustful affair? Gráinne begins to act out in fury when David takes a turn for the worst and her life continues to crumble. Mo is left with no choice but to admit to Gráinne that the catastrophe caused by Anto involved Colm. Eric unwillingly confesses to Niamh about his past and Niamh learns of O'Shea's involvement with Eric's incident and insists that she must own up to this.

S22 E3 • Episode 03

It seems as though Gráinne and David's bad luck has come to an end just as she was giving up hope. An awoken David is nothing but delighted and full of excitement for his future as a father. Gráinne quickly realises that she does not have the heart to break the terrible news to David. Mo's ability to forgive those in the wrong is being tested daily by her trauma and intense questioning by the locals. Bobbi-Lee, Caitríona and John Joe try to play Kit at his own game. While Kit is faced with an irresistible offer he also is faced with the prospect of his worst nightmare, facing Berni.

S22 E4 • Episode 04

David receives crushing news that Gráinne has experienced a miscarriage with his miracle child, shortly after interpreting heart breaking, horrifying news which will have devastating results on his future. O'Shea cracks under Eric's pressure and reveals the truth of her past and living with a heroin addict and the full extent of the damage is caused. Niamh and Eric both sympathise with O'Shea offering sincere apologies for assuming the worst of her. A saddened Máire begins to understand the importance of family and friends, while she mourns the loss of Peadar, the love of her life.

S22 E5 • Episode 05

The troubles seem never-ending at this stage for David and Gráinne, but another issue arises when David's guidance from Fr. Éamonn makes him realise that he must trust in Gráinne and that their love for one another will guide them through their dark times. The local GAA are in dire need of a new leader, which Berni brings to the attention of a homesick Evan. Could this prompt Evan's return to Ros na Rún? Years have passed with thousands of miles between Tadhg and Maggie, yet no change has occurred and they are as comfortable around each other as ever. Will Tadhg pursue these feelings?

S22 E6 • Episode 06

For once, Tadhg is left lost for words and in shock when he notices an unexpected dinner guest. What seems like the worst possible encounter for Tadhg soon becomes a moment to which he is at total ease with his surrounding company and genuinely enjoying every minute of this dinner. After a slip up on David's part, Gráinne is left totally distraught and again questioning their relationship. The bigger picture for the future generation of Ros na Rún seems dull and gloomy in Micheál's eyes. This is all about to change and Micheál is adamant in doing so.

S22 E7 • Episode 07

Things are picking up for Gráinne and she finally has an ounce of hope instilled within her, even with all of the horrific and terrible happenings. Micheál is feeling the intense pressure of the 'Anam an Iarthair' project. Will somebody be able to come to his rescue or will he shut down the offer of help out of sheer stubbornness? All Fia wishes and dreams of, is having the perfect family. She always thought that this would revolve around herself, Adam and little Liam. After a short encounter with Adam, her hopes are promptly cut loose, leaving her feeling foolish and naive.

S22 E8 • Episode 08

After beating around the bush for some time, David understands that there is no escaping the truth with all the sudden 'baby talk' with Gráinne. Is there any hope for this relationship ever being simple and straight forward? The sporadic chat with Briain has rejuvenated the spring into Fia's step and her outlook on life is instantaneously beginning to brighten up. Maggie begins to focus all her energy into securing the pub as the meeting grounds for all the 'Anam an Iarthair' meetings. Are Maggie's intentions innocent, or is it another way to see more of Tadhg?

Unknowingly to David, space is the last thing Gráinne is looking for at the minute. He wants to give her every chance he can to come to terms with the unbearable truth that they will never be able to have children together. A bright, carefree day for Mo begins to swing in the other direction as Dee doesn't understand when enough is enough. Excitement fills within Fia, as she gets ready for her outing with Evan and Briain but things begin to escalate quickly and begin to turn sour. Will Fia lay her feelings bare for Briain or will she back down with the fear of rejection?

S22 E10 • Episode 10

Fia is on top of the world with the prospect of her new life in London, that is, until reality comes knocking on her door. Will Fia be able to accept this new exciting opportunity or will it turn out to be the greatest let down she's experienced to date? Little does Frances know, her actions speak louder than words in the eyes of Tadhg and Maggie, who are secretly over the moon to be given the chance to spend even more quality time together. An excitable Dee begins to become increasingly frustrated as her beautifully prepared dinner is pushed to the side, along with herself.

S22 E11 • Episode 11

With Frances out of the picture for now, will Tadhg seize this opportunity or shockingly shy away from Maggie? An oblivious Frances leaves without delay unbeknownst to the real thoughts gathering in Tadhg and Maggie's heads. Evan approaches Fia with one thing in mind, to help her out of this dark place she is embedded in, after denying herself of all her dreams and her fresh start. Everything is brightening up with Micheál's plan of action, and he becomes the man of the hour when he gains the respect and approval of the younger crowd around Ros na Rún.

S22 E12 • Episode 12

A bewildered Maggie faces up to her action to which significant consequences follow. She pleads to be heard and understood by Tadhg that she never set out to break up and destroy his family. A lost and torn Fia is willing to try anything and everything that will numb her current pain but is it the case that only unscrupulous decisions will give Fia the release she needs from all of her troubles? David is trying his best to get back into the swing of things after a rocky few weeks, but his confidence has taken a major hit. Will he be able to overcome his fears?

How long can Fia's indecisiveness continue? Can Máire's motherly nature combined with Evan's fury give Fia the push she needs to turn her life around? Berni's mixed opinion on Briain is playing on her mind until she sees him with his friends. She takes a leap of faith and gives him a job at Cúl Chaint. An unaware Mack is astonished to learn that Dee is furious with him and his so called 'behaviour'. He is unable to wrap his head around the idea that Dee sees herself as second best in his eyes.

Tadhg and Maggie's romance is unquestionable but will emotions and fear get the better of their conscience? Or will they continue to hide their feelings for the sake of Tadhg's family? It turns out Briain is a natural with the Cúl Chaint customers and service in the café. Berni is thrilled with the progress and Briain's attitude to business in such a short space of time. Fia has begun her journey to recovery and is astounded when she stumbles across an opportunity that could help her get back on her feet. Could this motivate Fia to change for the better or will she give in to temptation, spiralling out of control yet again? The undeniable chemistry between Tadhg and Maggie is intensifying and both of them are feeling the pressure to hold things back for the sake of Tadhg's family. Dee is feeling isolated with having no one to hang out with. Her isolation is felt even further, when her own sister fails to inform her of a big event.

Maggie is certainly beginning to feel the pressure of holding onto Tadhg, she left him once and she is definitely not willing to repeat history all over again. Things are looking positive for Briain and Berni's working relationship. In the heat of the moment Briain changes the tune of their conversation from innocent to lustful. The question being, how will Berni respond to this bold statement? Gráinne is no longer allowing herself to wallow in her own self-pity, and by doing so is focusing on the positives.

Memories paint a million pictures, but for Tadhg, a simple ring paints the only picture that he cares about, Maggie's love for him. An issue arises for the two lovebirds when Tadhg is completely stunned at Maggie's unemotional and uncaring front. In a moment of weakness Dee breaks down, pouring her heart and soul out to Mack telling him just how lonesome and alienated she feels in Ros na Rún. Things are about to get a whole lot worse for Fia as Evan and Máire fear for her safety. Will Fia allow herself to be found or will she stay hiding from her overwhelming problems?

Tadhg and Maggie flood their brains with memories of their past and a possible future together. Will the two have the courage to move forward or back down in fear and regret? Fia and Pól have developed an unbreakable bond, that is, until she figures out whom he really is. This has the potential to end in forgiveness or tears. Another encounter occurs with Berni which sparks the realisation of Briain's age and Berni begins to feel as though her feelings are out of line and frankly, immoral. Can Berni resist Briain's efforts of sweet talking her back to where he wants her?

Fia's head has been all over the place, but reality sets in and she realises that she must turn her life around, for her herself and nobody else. Bobbi Lee tries to seduce Briain, but is shocked and stunned at how he responds. Priorities begin to click into place for Briain after this. Fia becomes disorientated and annoyed when she notices that Vanessa has returned to put shape on her life. A panicked Fia realises that the only way to overcome this is to devise a plan to fool Vanessa that all is well. Will an unanticipated encounter with Pól jeopardize Fia's plan? A sudden bond begins to flourish with Maggie, and shockingly the person is not Tadhg! Will Tadhg approve of Maggie's new friendship?

Frances' rage begins to boil with Maggie, after she once again crosses the line. After clear instruction from Frances, Maggie yet again refuses to follow her advice and throws it back in Frances' face. The battle of power is well and truly alive between Caitríona and Muireann, and tensions are high. Muireann drops a massive threat on Caitríona's shoulders. Adam realises he may have misinterpreted the situation with Pádraig but Pádraig knows who really is at fault, and he will let it be known that he is far from impressed.

Frances's suspicions are raised once again, when she realises that Maggie and Tadhg are spending a lot more time together than necessary. The bounce in Berni's step has not gone unnoticed by those in Ros na Rún and Gráinne is convinced that the only plausible cause for this, is a man. Will Gráinne's investigation reveal what she is expecting to find out or will it come to an abrupt end? Mo has been feeling the pressure since the attack and has hidden her troubles to the best of her ability. Will Mo finally be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel?

The minute Mo thought she had things under control; it all takes a turn for the worst. Could the solution to all her problems be as simple as some male company or will this drive her anxiety through the roof? Mack's attempt to make Dee feel part of his life begins with reintroducing her to his friends. His hope is that the more time she spends around his friends; the more comfortable she will feel in their company. Gráinne's investigation into Berni's love life is put to one side, but things have changed and her suspicions are at an all new high.

Everything is all going to plan for Fia, and she is convinced that Vanessa will be leaving without delay. That is, until Vanessa and Niall have a change of heart. Although Maggie and Tadhg have been warned to stay away from each other, things are moving fast behind closed doors. After a shocking conversation with Fia, Pól realises the truth about Liam Óg's biological father. In a heated conversation Pól gets angry with Niall and reveals the big secret. This leaves a dumbfounded Niall putting pressure on Fia. Katy busies herself in Gaudi's, much to Pádraig's chagrin. She effortlessly wards off questions on Jason's absence, in an effort to conceal the true state of her affairs. Maggie and Tadhg return to old haunts but their secret rendezvous creates paranoia and panic as they hastily dodge a villager.

Evan gives Niall the cold shoulder, but it isn't long until Niall's fury escalates when Evan lets it slip that he knew all along that Niall was Liam Óg's father. Pádraig is becoming more anxious and frustrated in anticipation of his biggest fear of loosing his job. Vanessa is absolutely distraught at the idea that Niall has done unspeakable things to Fia. Máire does her very best to keep Niall away from Vanessa but after a misleading conversation, Vanessa is scarred and shocked believing that Niall and Fia's moment of passion was not consensual, and her darling daughter was taken advantage of. After a night of smouldering passion between Mack and Dee, Mack is delighted with his life and imagining a bright future for himself and Dee. Mack's happiness is short-lived when he realises Dee's plans for their future are not on par with his.

Tadhg continues to double book himself putting his and Maggie’s agenda first ahead of Frances and Áine despite the festive season and Áine’s Christmas wishes. Muireann’s deception and pressure from Frances leads him to losing his temper with Áine. A blackened shadow lies over Vanessa; her motherly instincts are to protect Fia without a second thought. But is Fia playing her for a fool? The pressure of finding the perfect Christmas tree and planning a surprise party for Katy are proving a little tough for poor John Joe. Katy is not too enthusiastic about Jason’s surprise party.

A shattered Frances is doing her utmost to get into Tadhg's head as she battles to figure out what is causing all this pressure and why he's spending so much time with Maggie. She shudders to think he might have an affair but surely their life is worth more than that. Times are really tough for Annette as she struggles to provide for her family. Will she continue on her wayward path of deceit and lies or will her conscience catch up her. When David realises what she has done, will he inform the Gardaí? S22 E36 • Episode 36

A disheartened Frances needs to share her worries about Tadhg and Maggie, and Dee becomes her confidant. Frances has had enough, how dare Maggie pretend to be their friend when all the time she's been breaking up their family. Ros na Rún rivals Colm and Vince have an unexpected encounter leaving them in a compromising position, which forces them to get to know each other a little better. It's no secret that Gráinne and David have starkly different beliefs when it comes to matters of faith. The subject of marriage and the ceremony is creating lots of debate between the two love birds.

Frances does her best to reassure Áine that they will be home soon from their temporary stay with Dee and Mack. Matters of the heart are also playing on Pádraig's mind as he has another chance meeting by the schoolyard with Ros na Rún's newest resident, a lovely little boy Sam. Pádraig's instinct to protect innocent little Sam from school yard bullies meets with stark contrast from his mother Sonia, who's adamant Pádraig must stay away from her son. The subject of money is putting pressure on the groom to be David, as Gráinne bounces with excitement at their up and coming nuptials.

Will Dee's family law advice fall on deaf ears with Frances who believes the trump card to her marriage with Tadhg is little Áine. Gráinne is bursting with excitement for her wedding and it's all the talk in the village as the invitations arrive. Teenage antics get between Micheál and his beloved Réailtín who can't be the only one from school not at the local disco. Laoise intervenes and show's Réailtín how to get around her Dad. Is there a new friendship blossoming and will Réailtín keep her side of the bargain?

Réailtín strives to be all grown up, independent, glam and mature for the teenage disco but alcohol and the so called high life are about to get in the way as deep down Réailtín is more vulnerable than she thinks. Cupid is so often challenged in Ros na Rún and he's working hard with Gráinne and David as the wedding of the year hits another big bump? Will they ever get up the aisle?

Sonia lies motionless in the local hospital with Sam, Pádraig and her sister Helen keeping vigil at her bedside. Hot gossip is the nourishment of every bar maid and Tigh Thaidhg's Bobbi Lee relishes in any titbit of scandal. Has Bobbi Lee figured out Tadhg's distraction and Frances' absence? Gráinne is forced outside her comfort zone and into studio to fill an impromptu radio slot. Shacking the shackles of her confidence, it's Gráinne, the microphone and Radio Pobail's listeners, surely nobody would be interested in her jibberish.

Mo has taken up running and is advocating it as stress relief to Frances and all sundry in Ros na Rún. A blasé Colm isn’t taken by the fitness bug where as John Joe wonders if Mo’s new style interest is all it’s cracked up to. Pádraig’s nerves are shattered and he can’t keep his secret any longer, what’s he to do about poor little Sam? David gets much more than he bargains for when he questions Pádraig on his mood swings. Being away from home is taking it’s toll on Little Áine as she rebels on Frances and wonders what on earth her mother could have done to hurt her father.

S22 E42 • Episode 42

It's revolving doors for Tadhg as Áine scorns her mother for the break up with her Dad, sure he's the only one that can help her with her maths homework. Helen takes a scared little Sam to meet Pádraig at Gaudi's. Confused by his mother's coma, he's lost and now Helen is making him stay with Pádraig and David, Sam is beside himself with misery. Bobbi Lee puts her foot in it with Frances. Meanwhile, John Joe is concerned for Mo but his logic is falling on deaf ears as Mo maintains her secret.

S22 E43 • Episode 43

Bobbi Lee is relishing all the news and gossip in Ros na Rún and is getting super confident in holding the upper hand on Berni, Briain and now Pádraig's news of his son Sam. Colm has solved Mo's mood swings or so he thinks when's he finds a pregnancy testing kit. Convinced Mo is pregnant, he feels he can cope with it. Pádraig's thoughts on parenting are to lay down the law and boundaries to gain Sam's respect. But he soon learns the reality of parenting from Sam that children need truth, honesty and trust in adults.

Evan is ready to beat Briain to a pulp but it's Bobbi Lee to the rescue again as Berni panics that Máire will hear her news and stops Evan from pouring out the sordid details on the street. Frances, thinking Tadhg may want to make amends by fixing all the faults in the house, is dismayed to learn it is only because an auctioneer is coming in to value the pub - he still wants rid of her. Gráinne is full of the joys of spring on St Bridget's Day as she shares folklore and remedies for love, health and wealth with Mo.

It's finally here, the eve of Gráinne and David's wedding, a romantic, magical, civil ceremony centred on their own vows on the beach. Mo is keeping up appearances but Colm spills the beans on their break up much to John Joe's fury who lashes out at him and Colm learns the truth. There's a spark between Sam and his dad Pádraig. Everyone is bonding, but a call from the hospital may throw light on Sam's future. Tadhg is taking Maggie's advice very seriously and despite counsel, instruction, and guidance to the contrary from his solicitor, Tadhg is ready to hand over the pub to Frances.

The magical wedding day has arrived for Gráinne and David. Gráinne who believes in folklore and dreams is nervous of the weather and not least when a magpie flies by! Will she have reason to believe in myth and legends when there's no sign of her beloved David for the ceremony? Tadhg makes a statement by inviting a cautious Maggie to the celebrations in Tigh Thaidhg for Gráinne and David nuptials. Pádraig takes a nervous Sam to the hospital as news of Sonia's possible recovery comes from the hospital. The doctors have seen signs of recovery from the coma and Sonia could wake up at any moment.

S22 E47 • Episode 47

Bobbi Lee can't turn around without bumping into a smooching, loved up couple in Ros na Rún. Tadhg has moved back to Tigh Thaidhg much to little Áine's delight to see her mom and dad home and the family back together again. There's an emotional reunion between poor little Sam and his mother Sonia as she wakens up from her coma. Sam is bursting with excitement, pride and love to see his mother awake again. Sonia is worn out from her experience and remains rather fragile as Helen returns from her travels to support her.

It maybe lent but there's no rationing of gossip mongering in Ros na Rún in fact there's plenty of nourishment for Caitríona and Máire's souls as they feast on all of the love affairs and secrecy surrounding them. Berni and Briain are managing to keep their affair under wraps. Sonia remains under doctors watch at the hospital as reality comes to light for her and Sam. What if something worse happened to her who will look after Sam? Mo prepares for her operation and certainly doesn't appreciate Mack's big mouth telling her news as a visitor turns up to play Nurse Nightingale for her recovery.

Tadhg's living arrangements continue to be the gossip of Ros na Rún as tongues wag about his relationship with Maggie. Gossip is rife- with Tadhg back at the pub, will Maggie be returning to the States? Pádraig grows increasingly frustrated with the lack of contact from Sonia and Sam. Admittance to hospital has arrived for Mo who's determined to deal with her cancer on her own terms. Independent and wanting no help or support, her softer side emerges as she comes through from her operation to find a friendly smile and kind eyes by her bed.

Áine show's Tadhg her support for her mother as they take up home in Máire's B & B. Maggie's heating system breaks down in the cottage and Tadhg makes her a proposition while contracting John Joe to do a revamp on her cottage. Mo returns home and is showered with attention from Colm and Úna. Relations are strained between mother and daughter as Úna keeps her Garda hat on when it comes to Colm, can a leopard change his spots? Micheál does his best to bring Laoise and Imelda together for a casual drink with some protesting from Laoise.
