S2 E1 • Episode 1

The programme returns to follow a three-month experiment at Lark Hill retirement home on the outskirts of Nottingham, with the classmates' ages ranging from just three to 102. Inspired by the show's previous project in Bristol, the pensioners this time are much older and the nursery runs for twice as long, stretching the older group's stamina with excursions, dancing and a daily timetable of nursery activities.

S2 E2 • Episode 2

Week three of the experiment at Lark Hill retirement home is all about memory, finding out whether the classmates can all remember one another's name well enough to write them out on the blackboard. They also visit a local maze, which is then re-created to scale on the nursery floor and everyone has to try to recall the way out. Meanwhile new friendships start to blossom, as four-year-old Lily persuades 87-year-old Ken to swap his chips for her vegetables, while he bonds with 84-year-old Fred.

At Lark Hill retirement home on the outskirts of Nottingham, the ambitious 12-week experiment bringing the very young and the very old together reaches the halfway mark. The classmates' confidence is tested with a series of outdoor challenges on a tram journey and a trip to the supermarket, and the older members of the group have health tests to check whether the length of the project is taking its toll. Meanwhile, a postwar-themed party is planned. Will everyone return from a trip to to buy the food?

It is week eight of the three-month experiment at Lark Hill retirement home focuses on keeping active and getting mobile. Sports day sees a fierce rivalry breaking out between 102-year-old Sylvia and 87-year-old Ken as they face-off on opposing teams, while former tap dancer Lilian has to tackle the egg-and-spoon race without the use of her stick. The arrival of some four-legged friends adds another challenge for the older group, while four-year-old Ismail reveals his fascination with 91-year-old Pauleen's wrinkles.

S2 E5 • Episode 5

It is the final week of the three-month experiment at Lark Hill retirement home and as the children graduate to mainstream schools, the older classmates discover if their mood, memory, mobility and cognition have improved following a daily timetable of nursery activities. But first, it's the end-of-term tea dance for parents and family, with the very young and the very old doing a waltz and a jive. Will 81-year-old former tap dancer Lillian make her dreams come true and dance in public one more time? Last in the series.
