S8 E1 • The Big Surprise

When Sooty, Sweep and Soo return from a break at a friend's house, Matthew has a big surprise waiting for them in their bedroom.

S8 E2 • School Trip

Sooty, Sweep and Soo are getting ready for a School Trip, but Matthew is still in bed and still has to make lunches for Sooty, Sweep and Soo. So, he rushes up and says if he's calm and organised everything with be ok. But, then Matthew gets a phone call from the Headmaster saying the School Trip is cancelled due to him being ill. Then, Matthew agrees to take the Trip instead. He takes them to a History Museum and he gives the pupils and Sooty, Sweep and Soo a lecture about History so they will learn something, but everyone walks away and Matthew ends up looking for them everywhere. In the end Sooty, Sweep and Soo had a great day and tells Matthew some facts that they learned at their day at the History Museum.

S8 E3 • Sooty's Magic Lamp

Matthew is reading Sooty, Sweep and Soo a story all abut Aladdin and his magic lamp. Sooty,Sweep and Soo would like to grant Matthew's wishes and so they haven't help him clear out the loft. They find a old lamp and think its maybe a magic lamp, they all have a go at rubbing and saying a rhyme each to the lamp and the hope that a genie will appear. Matthew says a rhyme and the genie appears, but after the genie disappears they aren't sure what has happened.

S8 E4 • Good Luck, Bad Luck

Sooty, Sweep, Soo and Matthew all experience lots of good luck and bad luck - Soo finds £5.00 after seeing two magpies together, whilst poor Matthew ends up spilling tea all over himself, and things begin falling over in his bedroom after he leaves his shoes on the table! Later on Matthew finds himself wishing he could see into the future, and the gang call in a fortune teller to make Matthew's wish come true. A crystal ball appears in the kitchen, and Sooty and Sweep tell Matthew that he's about to be visited by "Gypsy Nose Lee", who turns out to be Soo dressed as a fortune teller! However, suddenly a voice calls to Matthew from within the crystal ball and summons him inside, where he comes face-to-face with a real fortune teller! The fortune teller predicts that Matthew will encounter water, and indeed he does...when Sooty squirts him with a water pistol! Matthew wakes up and it appears that he's been dreaming, and the three friends present him with some flowers, which they discover includes a lucky four-leaf clover, which leads to fish & chips all round!

S8 E5 • Return of Superdog

Matthew is reading a Superman comic and then he dreams about a dog called Superdog. But, also he dreams that Sweep is the normal identity of Superdog (In other words Sweep is actually Superdog!) He wakes up, and he can't believe the dream. Sooty and Soo think there could actually be a Superdog after he fixes their bathroom tap. Then, Matthew is talking about his dream, and says that Superdog's enemy looks like Butch, and then Butch visits Matthew. Butch gives Matthew a present for Superdog, it is a green brooch. Butch, then goes to find Superdog. Superdog goes for the present and Matthew puts the brooch on his head and makes him very unwell. Then, Butch accounces he wants jewels and anything everyone has got if they want to see Superdog back to normal, or is it just all a dream of someone's?

S8 E7 • Make and Do

Sooty, Sweep and Soo are making things. But, Matthew isn't too pleased because they have unravelled lots of toilet rolls and cut out the full washing-up liquid. Matthew tells them they are meant to use them when they are empty. They decide to make things, and later on they get a special visit from a special paper tearer.

S8 E8 • Overnight Away

When Matthew decides he is going away for a night, he hopes that Sooty, Sweep and Soo would be a little upset, but they aren't they are actually very happy.

When Matthew becomes concerned about home security, Sooty invents a 'Burglar Box'.

S8 E10 • Hidden Talent

There is a talent contest at the local church hall, and Sooty, Sweep and Soo want to enter. Sooty wants to play his Xylophone, Soo wants too sing ( but she decides not to after a dangerous incident involving Matthew) and Sweep wants to tell jokes but there is a slight problem as Sweep doesn't know any jokes, so Matthew tries to help Sweep. In the end Soo doesn't want to sing, and Sooty and Sweep decide to play the drums. Matthew phones up a friend to show Sooty and Sweep what the words of drummer really mean. In the end all of them enter the Talent Contest with the help of the drummer from Iron Maiden, Nicko McBrain.

S8 E11 • Arguing

Sooty, Sweep and Soo are arguing. Matthew wants them to stop arguing, he asks Sooty if he can help Sooty turns Sweep and Soo into lemons. When they are back to normal they are still arguing so Matthew borrows Sooty's wand and Matthew turns Sweep and Soo into lemons and then Matthew turns into a lemon. Sooty, Sweep and Soo are arguing still about them being turned into lemons. In the end they sort it out and they are all friends.

Matthew, Sooty, Sweep and Soo are interested about finding their ancestors.

S8 E13 • When I Was A Lad

Matthew is going on about the luxurys in life, and how he could ddo without them like he did 'When He Was A Lad' Matthew tells them he will go out and have a better day than Sooty, Sweep and Soo going out with Connie to Chessington World of Adventures. The rain starts for Matthew, and he doesn't have a very good day compared to Connie, Sooty, Sweep and Soo.
