A noter la présence de "Birds" du futur "After the gold rush".

NYAOB 10 : Show du 4 décembre 1970 au Carnegie Hall à NYC.

Premier volet de la nouvelle collection Official Bootleg Serie, soit des Live en Bootleg. Et oui cela fait un peu doublon avec certains live des Performance Series, notamment pour celui-ci le "Cellar Door" (NYAPS 02.5 30/11-02/12/1970).
Avantage de celui-ci néanmoins, sa longueur, plus de2h, et sa set-list très "After The Gold Rush" et probablement supérieur au Cellar Door du coup. Mais il vient après 15 Vol. des Performance Series... bref, pour les complétistes.

NYAPS 03. folk. Seul à la guitare en Janvier 1971. Il joue des chansons qui vont figurer sur Harvest un an plus tard, tout chaud sortie du four. Son meilleur Live acoustique à mon humble avis.

Rock. La plupart des chansons ne figurent que sur ce disque live, avec les "Stray gators" en backing band ("Harvest" en 1972 et "War song", 45t de 1972 avec Graham Nash - le N. de CSN&Y). Issu d'une tournée entre février à Avril 73, Il s'agit en fait de la 2è partie de la tournée, suite au changement de batteur. Neil avait évoqué à maintes reprises qu'il avait un "Time Fades Away II" dans sa besace, correspondant au début de la tournée...cf. Tuscaloosa'73 NYAPS04.
Volume 1 de la "Ditch trilogy", période sombre de Neil young, touché par le décès de Danny Whitten, le guitariste de Crazy Horse, son backing band préféré, et de Bruce Berry, son Roadie ("Bruce berry was a Workin' man" sur Tonight's the night) .
N'existe en CD officiel que depuis peu et uniquement par le biais du coffret "Official Release Series Discs 5–8".
