Before Terence Malik started to break our balls with his christian epiphany, he was making great movies, and this one is simply wonderful... You will find there all the spirituality you need in those troubled times and this vision of war is still unequalled today...

The best and most profund of the Allen movies. Also the drakest and most pessimistic. Martin Landau is amazing and Allen is touching even in his funny moments. A beautiful reflection on man's responsibiliy and the silence of God

Here is a movie you cannot unsee. This acerbic and apocalyptic comedy is probably the most nihilistic thing you will ever see. But more importantly, it is amazing, superbly shot, and it speaks to the deepest innerest part of your being. A unique movie you must absolutey watch one day.

I put this one here out of sentimentalism... This movie introduced me to Nick cave and i have signed for everything Wenders produces. What a gorgeous story, that one could no longer imagine in our over-connected world. Poetry, goddammit !!
