Malgré sa brièveté, ce roman dégage une force que l'on ne retrouve que peu dans les romans contemporains et dont je n'avais jamais réalisé qu'elle m'importait autant (biberonnée à la Comtesse de Ségur...) : qu'est-ce qu'être « bon » ?
