Résumé : A broken story is a comic book about growing up with a parent who has no limit. Disentangled memories boil down a long-term course of illness into a dense story at a furious pace. Mom can suddenly buy a lot of clothes, fall in love with a celebrity, make a fuss about nothing, make inappropriate jokes at a dinner party and then disappear for several hours. The children's perspective is painfully strong, but Tillman's black and accurate humor is always present.
