KabukiDate de publication (États-Unis) : 13 novembre 1996Langue d'origine : AnglaisRésumé : Kabuki: Skin Deep follows a woman whose face bears severe scars as she sits in an institution for defective government agents. She undergoes questioning to determine whether her scars conceal something about her past, or if she is simply mentally unstable. Isolated and subjected to psychological torment, she clings to a mystery friend who sends handwritten notes folded into origami animals. The tension centers on whether the messages reveal truth or manipulation, and the boundaries between memory, perception, and reality are tested within this claustrophobic setting.
