Like any good Cannes Festival film, The Other Lauren's left me reflecting. Although there were moments in the film where the story didn't seem to connect, there was something that I liked about it overall. I'd be curious to see the film again to try and pin point what exactly it was that intrigued me the most.
If you're typically someone who likes to read between the lines and search for underlining meanings and themes that the director has seeded in to expose or highlight certain aspects of society, institutions, stereotypes, norms, etc. you'll likely enjoy The Other Lauren's.
