Lanterns of memory

Synopsis · Lanterns of memory explores the fate of the thousands of people who disappeared during the Lebanese civil war. Through the story of Wadad Hilwani whose husband was kidnapped in 1982, the film focuses on the struggle for truth and justice that continues until today, almost thirty years after Wadad founded the Committee of the families of the Missing and kidnapped in Lebanon.
