Les tentations de Saint Antoine

Synopsis : Anthony is shown as a Patrician, feasting and drinking, surrounded by slaves and beautiful women. His favorite proves unfaithful and Anthony is about to slay his rival when his hand is stayed by a Christian priest. Anthony is converted, relinquishing a life of luxury and giving to the poor his silken raiment and costly jewels.
