I was expecting a funny emotional coming of age movie and I didn’t and I neither laughed nor cried. 🙄

The whole point is it’s super cliché et tear-jerking. The cliché of the girl who’s angry at the world and hates/rejects everybody at first but then is gonna feel sooo much better while her roommate is bubbly and exactly the opposite in terms of personality. Les personnages manquaient de profondeur (j’ai pas réussi à m’attacher), les blagues tombent à plat, c’est vu et revu et c’est prévisible. C’est dommage car c’est ce qui m’a fait perdre tout intérêt dès le début du film. Bref je me suis ennuyée et j’ai subi pendant 1h30 et peut-être que j’étais pas le public de base (pourtant j’adore ce genre de films quand c’est bien fait). I liked the music though (but cliché too).
