Dylan Dog : une anthologie (française)
Dylan Dog, ex-policier devenu détective du paranormal, est un des personnages de fumetti les plus célébres en Italie. Créé en 1986 par Tiziano Sclavi sous les traits de l'acteur Rupert Everett, et édité par l'incontournable Sergio Bonelli, il a vu ses ventes mensuelles grimper jusqu'à 1 million d'exemplaires.
On approche aujourd'hui des 400 numéros mensuels et 200 numéros dans les séries parallèles (Speciale, Almanacco, Gigante, Maxi, Color Fest...). Autant dire qu'on en est un peu loin ici...
Au niveau des personnages récurrents, on citera bien évidemment son assistant Groucho, aussi fidèle au frère Marx dans son apparence que dans sa manière de s'exprimer, et l'inspecteur Bloch de Scotland Yard, qui lui prend pour modèle l'acteur Robert Morley.
Groucho aura d'ailleurs droit à ses propres aventures le temps de quelques numéros, sous forme d'un supplément de 32 pages à la série "Speciale".
En 1994, Michele Soavi réalise Dellamorte Dellamore, adaptation d'un roman de Tiziano Sclavi, et choisit Rupert Everett pour le rôle principal. Entre ça et l'esprit global du film, on pourrait parler d'adaptation officieuse de Dylan Dog.
Mais il faut attendre 2010 et "Dylan Dog : Dead of Night" pour que le personnage soit portée de manière officielle à l'écran, avec cette fois Brandon Routh dans le rôle titre.
