Super Castlevania IV [TRACKLIST] ♪
Pas encore référencée sur SC, cette BO figure au sommet de ce que je préfère en terme de sons 16bits.
D'une élégance rare, à la fois entrainante et sombre à souhait. Le baroque et le gothique atteignent leur apogée dans ces quelques pistes magistrales, teintées parfois de jazz, de dissonances maitrisées grâce à ce son d'orgue particulièrement bien retranscrit. Et rythmant le tout en continue, cette basse entêtante.
Même les intermèdes appellent à l'excellence.
A (ré)écouter de toute urgence.
Il s'agit d'une bande originale très compliquée à trouver en tant qu'album. Existant uniquement en Gamerip à ma connaissance, ou bien dans son intégralité dans le CD.3 de la Music Collection Box consacrée à la saga Castlevania : http://sens.sc/166u7Gr.
