Animal Physiology

Résumé : This text is rich with facts, but its approach to all the major physiological processes of animals is decidedly conceptual. Physiological concepts are first developed from fundamental principles of chemistry, biology, and physics; then the concepts are applied to a comparative study of animal groups. There is a strong ecological and evolutionary theme throughout the text.
