Once I was 7 years old, my granny told me

I always had that fear that I would fall for someone,
Holdin’ hands, watchin’ sunsets and then tell him I can’t.
So I lost myself in the pile of books daddy bought me,
I had to find my first crush in the lines of Peter Pan.

Once I was 20 years old, my heart was no gold,
Been pushing myself to the limits with some false hope,

I’ve never been in love, I tell myself it’s a good thing
