Quatrième single extrait de l'album HIStory de Jackson, cette chanson est l'une des plus controversées de sa carrière et a été accusée d'antisémitisme. Elle dénonce le racisme et exhorte les puissants à cesser de bafouer les droits humains.

Cependant, certains ont interprété les paroles comme ayant une signification diamétralement opposée à celle voulue par Jackson. Ce dernier a nié ces interprétations par la suite et s'est dit offensé que ses paroles puissent être perçues de cette manière.
