Synopsis · Trina and Dan love their Dad's collection of ventriloquist dummies, except for the creepy new dummy, who has a card containing a magic spell in its pocket. They're pretty mad when their visiting cousin, Zane, uses the dummies in his pranks. But one night, when their parents are out, spooky things start to happen...things that only the dummies can be doing. What weird power does the new dummy have? Is he controlling the others? And can he be stopped before he turns the three children into his dummy slaves?

Sam l'aide à trouver la route de Moss Avenue. Pour remercier l'adolescente, l'inconnue lui demande de faire trois vœux. C'est là que le cauchemar commence, car, si les vœux, au début demeurant non-réalisés, se réalisent de manière amusante, ils prennent un aspect négatif et de plus en plus terrifiant au fil du temps avec des conséquences désastreuses.

She weasels a rare baseball card out of a reluctant Matthew for one dollar. After going home, she checks her ""Financial Empire"", and her brother comes in asking her for spare money to get their mother an anniversary gift. When Jessica gets too technical about it, their mother tells Jessica it's her job to sweep the attic. Inside, Jessica finds a strange toy town. Now, she's transported into Karlsville, a strange town where one man rules all. And Jessica's greed just may get the best of her. As during her stay, many of the townspeople are talking about what happens to greedy little pigs...

Nicholas knows that Grace wants to be an only child. And she'll do anything to get rid of him. So when their parents leave Nicholas home alone to babysit Grace, Grace does some real bad things. Scary things. Evil things. Things that COULD make her an only child...

Synopsis · Katie, Harrison, Jillian, and Katie's annoying doll Mary-Ellen were seeing a show put on by the famous ventriloquist Jimmie O' James, who was using his dummy, Slappy. However, as most would know, Slappy is no normal dummy. He's alive. And, while at the show, it would seem that he fell in love with Katie's doll. When Jillian searched for her sister after she forgot Mary-Ellen, she met Jimmie O' James, and Jimmie gave her an autographed photo and she gave her address. However, Jimmie used the address to send Slappy to Jillian. And now strange things are happening around the house. Scary things. Evil things. And Jillian and Katie get the hint when Slappy steals their Mom's wedding ring...

Synopsis · Ben and Dave stopped at an ice cream shop. They ordered some very strange ice cream, as Dave says ""Life is too short for boring ice cream"". However, the ice cream was stranger than they thought as they found it covered with ants! People then began to scream as they found the whole shop infested with ants. Running out, Dave and Ben met a man from ""Nuke 'Em"" pest control, and Ben quickly left as Dave went inside with the exterminator. While inside, the exterminator started looking for the queen's next. He found the queen and squashed it, then gave Dave an idea for a science project. After ordering an ant home, Dave feeds them. Though, when Ben says they aren't getting enough food, they start feeding them hot dogs and more pellets than the ants are supposed to get. However, now the ants are growing larger and larger...

Synopsis · Out on a fun-filled road trip to Zoo Gardens, the Morris family's amusement soon turns to amazement when bright lights flash across the sky. They suddenly find themselves in Horrorland-where admission is free, but the fun never starts. After a narrow escape from the house of mirrors and a chilling whitewater coffin cruise, Luke and Lizzy rejoin their parents at the front gate, but it's locked! Now their only hope is to compete in a gruesome game show that proves what the world has feared all along: monsters really do exist...and they have their own cable channel.

Synopsis · Seth Gold is sick of being ordered around by his sister, his mother, and his father. His hobby is channel-surfing, so he orders a remote from a company in a magazine. One day as Seth is riding home from school, he checks the mail and the remote came and is inside. Running inside the house to open it, Seth notices it can also be used to change the radio station. He then decides to watch TV, when his sister Jamie comes in to practice her tap-dancing. As a joke, Seth presses the Pause button while aiming the remote at his sister. His sister actually pauses! Seth now realizes this new remote can control more than just the TV.

Synopsis · Cet épisode est l'adaptation du roman Les vers contre-attaquent de la collection de livres Chair de poule. On remarque donc que le titre français du livre ne fut pas gardé pour le titre français de l'épisode bien qu'ils racontent bien évidemment à peu près la même histoire. Aux États-Unis par contre, le même titre fut utilisé pour le livre et l'adaptation télévisuelle, Go Eat Worms!.

S1 E10 de Chair De Poule

Synopsis · Cet épisode est l'adaptation du roman éponyme Le Pantin maléfique de la collection de livres Chair de poule. Le titre original de l'épisode est Night of the Living Dummy II, en référence au deuxième livre de la collection mettant en scène un pantin (appelé Diabolo dans le roman, Slappy dans l'épisode télévisé). Le premier livre mettant en scène ce pantin (Night of the Living Dummy - édité en France sous le titre La Nuit des pantins) ne fut jamais adapté à la télévision, ce qui explique pourquoi le titre de l'épisode mettant en scène pour la première fois ce pantin dans la série porte déjà le numéro deux outre-Atlantique, dans le souci d'une cohérence entre le titre du roman et celui de l'épisode dont il est adapté.
