When a terrorist bombing occurs in Seoul, profiling specialist, NCI agent Kang Ki Hyung, is brought in for his opinion. However, due to a wrong call, Special Tasks Force Agent, Kim Hyun Jun, ends up losing a friend. One year later, Hyun Jun and Sun Woo are investigating a case of a kidnapped woman. However, when the younger sister of his dead friend is kidnapped, he has no choice but to turn to the NCI for help.

There is a hostage situation on the KTX. Within the train is NCI agent, Min Young, who is returning from a forum, as well as a murder suspect who is on the run. Newly appointed NCI agent, Hyun Jun, enters the hostage situation in disguise. Meanwhile, the notorious murderer, The Reaper, returns from his seven-year hiatus and begins murdering people again.

The Reaper is yet to be caught, and the NCI try to track him down, but the Reaper is always one step ahead of them. While Ki Hyung and the others are distracted, the Reaper manages to abduct Hae Won and Han Byul. Ki Hyung must stop the Reaper before it is too late.

One month after the Reaper’s escape, an anthrax terror incident occurs at a park in Seoul. The NCI team is called into to catch the terrorist. However, while investigating the case, Han gets exposed to the anthrax bacteria. The NCI team figures out that the terrorist intends to spread the bacteria at a different location, and head over to stop the terrorist from succeeding. Meanwhile, Min Young’s niece is at the scene of the potential threat.

A woman in her 20s gets abducted while on her way home from studying for the civil servant exam. A few days later, a strange video gets delivered to the victim’s house. The NCI team sees this as a serial murder case and tries to locate the victim. However, while they are narrowing down the suspects, another incident breaks out.

The NCI team realized that the suspect they arrested was not the real murderer. Ki Hyung goes to an ex-profiler who became a murderer after the Reaper had murdered his family. While conducting a personal investigation of the Nadeul River murder case, Hyun Jun realizes that Sun Woo was the first witness who found Ji Eun’s body. Meanwhile, the Reaper has returned to attack not only Ki Hyung but the rest of the team.

A series of road rage induced incidents occur. The criminal picks up his mistakes and leaves less traces after each crime. The NCI team profiles the culprit based on the information they require from illegal websites that sell firearms. Will they be able to catch the culprit before more people get hurt?

Hyun Jun and Sun Woo go to an amusement park to look into a child abduction case. They meet a woman who claims that this case is not a simple child abduction case, but rather it is a serial kidnapping case. She claims that her child, who was kidnapped eight years ago, was taken the same way that the most recent child was. The NCI team goes on to look into this case to find the culprit behind the kidnappings.

The team discovers a possibility of one of the missing children being the accomplice. Hyun Jun and Ki Hyung narrow down the suspects while the culprit holds a ritual she created. Meanwhile, Ki Hyung, who found out that the Reaper has returned, asks Hyun Jun and Sun Woo to turn a blind eye.

There's a new murderer on the loose. He posts videos of murders online to give a message to the public. The NCI team uses profiling to figure out that there is an accomplice and works to investigate the case. Meanwhile, Min Young and Sun Woo go to interrogate a possible witness. However, Min Young gets abducted and the NCI team must work fast to find her.

The first execution of a death penalty after 20 years is about to take place. The two married murderers, who have killed 12 female college students, creates a media storm. Will the NCI be able to find the hidden truth?

Kim Hyun Jun suddenly gets arrested as a murder suspect. The entire team leaves to Cheonju to prove Hyun Jun’s innocence. As they investigate further into the murder of Kang Ho Young, it is discovered that the case may be related to the unresolved Nadeul River incident. Ki Hyung profiles Hyun Jun and finds that he is hiding something.

S1 E14 • Episode 14

Three high school girls go missing in a small town. The culprit has them locked up somewhere, and the parents gather at the police station. When the team arrives to investigate, they find out that the case is related to something the local residents are hiding from them. Meanwhile, the culprit starts a game of dilemma, saying that in order for the two of the girls to live, one must die.
