Signature dining room tables are created. During the build, one designer gets a new carpenter, while two others take a big risk by trying highly ambitions pieces; and at judges panel, a contestant pushes back against their critique.

The contestants take a trip around the world of furniture design in a challenge for which they are randomly assigned countries that serve as their inspiration during the build. Included: The strong opinions of guest judge Karim Rashid leave everyone fearful of elimination.

Ellen gives each of the designers a unique furniture assignment. Included: Indecisiveness causes tension; woodworking backfires in a major way; the judging panel face one of their toughest decisions yet.

The final four designers take a tour of Warner Brothers Studios and the set for Ellen's talk show. While there, they meet Stephen "tWitch" Boss, who gives them their next assignment, which is to make green room couches.
