Sinatra starred in the first dramatic episode of the series as a New York cab driver who is raising a pair adopted war orphans. His neighbors, his friends and even the children themselves think Hogan should find a wife. The youngsters arrange a date for Hogan with their pretty teacher, Miss Douglas, and then some of his cabbie friends try to pair him up with a real ""doll"".

In this episode Sinatra opens singing ""South of the Border"" to a group of admiring showgirls. Later, he's joined by English singer Jeannie Carson in a record shop sketch, where she and regular heckler Clifford (Jesse White) compete to get Sinatra's autograph, and he agrees to teach her how to sing like him and sound American. Meanwhile, Clifford keeps bothering Sinatra, mistaking him for ""Sol Mineo."" Sinatra sings Cole Porter's ""From This Moment On"" in an outstanding rendition, as well as ""Witchcraft"" and ""Wishing On a Star."" Jeannie Carson learns how to pronounce words American-style (""mudda, fodda etc."") and sings ""Them There Eyes."" Young Father Dvorak returns as a parish priest to the church of his childhood. St. Theresa's is now old and neglected and he tries to convince the bishop that even though the church is in a neighborhood that is now almost completely industrialized, it is worth renovating. Father Dvorak tries to stir up some interest in his campaign by attempting to grow grass in the sooty barren plot of ground in front of the church.

In 1957 Timex sponsored a series of TV Variety Show Specials starring Frank Sinatra broadcast on the ABC Television Network. This show was taped on October 19, 1958, The special guest stars are Dean Martin and Bing Crosby and includes Dean Martin's less than subtle commercial for his Hollywood restaurant whilst performing 'Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams'. Also appearing are Mitzi Gaynor and a cameo by Jimmy Durante. This program is remastered from the archive tape of the broadcast, and is the original broadcast including the sponsors promotional segments. Whilst the quality of the reproduction may not meet modern technological standards, it is a rare record of three of the most popular performers of the Twentieth Century performing together.
