This was the first permanent hour-long episode. 6 pricing games were now played in this format. The introduction of the modern-day Big Wheel occurs on this episode. Spinnig $1.00 in a single spin, or combination of two, netted a $1,000 bonus, however, no additional bonus spin was awarded. The additional spin for more money did not begin until 3 years later. The Wheel has changed colors slight over time, but is the actual same wheel used for more than 30+ years.
