The thing is, getting all those mini intrigues is annoyingly reminiscent of reading a manga's early chapters where the author has no clue of the larger intrigue he will create so he simply wanders around, putting short story after short story to fill his weekly/monthly obligations. After a VERY long 9 volumes prologue, getting more "sub-prologues" will rapidly test my patience (something that shouldn't have to be tested).
