Our story starts with beautiful Passion, and all the while, Insurmountable Tragedy is Creeping is ugly head into the scene. Such a dark a deeply emotional film has been laid at our feet, and raw emotions leading to carnality between our main characters.
I feel a deep wound that time may never heal slowly entering the scenes, primarily due to the detrimental thoughts that are constantly invading our female characters mind.
Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg character portrayal is unlike any I've come across of late, Provocative and Disturbing to the point I've had to pause the film for a brief moment to gather myself from the raw intensity unfolding before my eyes.
Never have a seen such viscious brutality, that wasn't in a gore film before.

Ayant vu le film à l'époque en avant-première, je me contenterai de dire que c'est une oeuvre démente: le fruit d'un esprit malade et dérangé en dépit de certains passages assez beaux noyés hélas...
