Vu sur ARTE, Court-Circuit "Derrière la caméra", présenté par la réalisatrice.
The perfect exercise in 2000+ american independant drama:
- the sunlight,
- the way everything is cut and melds together,
- the thoughtful-sounding voice-over,
- obviously, the young adults orientation,
- "lost" ones if possible.
Ever wished for a lesson in US "indies"?
Score: 6/10
Enjoyment: 4/5
Let's hope the director of photography turned director loses some of those mannerisms when she'll eventually make a feature-length film.
(My second thing seen with Odessa Young, after The Stand.)
