The possibly final day of a man who intends to kill himself and his family. In other words, a series of discussions he starts with an Holocaust survivor and a psychologist, seeking either to leave a mark or to be convinced of life's benefits. In-between, a retelling of his couple to prostitutes.

Will he, won't he? Given the very cold look at it and the lack of cinema, this will be the only hook for the audience if they're not looking after being exposed the old problems and frustrations of modern marital life.

Holbrook and Fletcher's contrasting performances are the only good "technical" aspect.

Prefer reading the novel, You can run, to watching the film, wich seems to lose more than it adds to it.
