Revu sur mk2 Curiosity, best-of estival, "Amours d'été".
A nice concept of reversal (of sexes relationships in fiction) using comedy to give its little speech.
But the comedy serving the attempted mockery is terrible (in this typically 90s french comedy way) and the speech (women taking control of the "male sex behaviour") is nothing that could make a film on its own.
To make the matter worse, Arditi is set on playing his ridiculous character in the most ridiculous way, his performance being insufferable (voice, facial expressions & gestures: the whole thing). Heinz Bennent, the unforgettable Heinrich in Possession, gladly joins the party. And what a waste of Dominique Blanc*, only busy looking "pretty".
Add to this the colourfully fake set sending TVmovie vibes.

I had forgotten all about it before, let's hope I will again.
*Interested people might be happy to find her take a steam "shower" in her birthday suit.
