Quatrième single extrait du huitième album solo de Michael, Dangerous, ''Jam'' est un appel à l'union pour bâtir un monde de coopération, d'amour et de positivité. Le morceau, aux sonorités New Jack Swing, a été produit par le talentueux Teddy Riley.

Le court-métrage qui accompagne cette chanson s'inscrit dans la lignée des apparitions de stars présentes dans les clips de l'album, avec cette fois-ci la légende Michael Jordan.

''Jam'' a également ouvert le bal de la tournée mondiale Dangerous de Michael, qui sillonnait le monde entre 1992 et 1993.
