The title is a bit of a joke, but Tangerine is a very entertaining film that happens to take place on Christmas. The film drops you in the middle of things, which feels chaotic, but is very much on purpose. Typically, the Duplass brothers are known for peaceful scenery shots with absurd dialogue. In this movie, though beautifully shot, we're seeing a side of LA not shown too often.
