Il y a un truc profondément dérangeant et déviant, dégénéré, inhumain avec le romantisme américain, qui intervient chez leurs peintres paysagistes de la même manière à la même époque et qui est sans doute encore pire du point de vue symbolique que la colonisation à l'européenne.
