I love John Oliver, and he has a great way of explaining a complicated situation to an audience as if they knew nothing about something. Why else would they allow a British man go on HBO every weekend and tell Americans what's going on in their country?

That being said, a lot of what he says is a bit oversimplified to not exactly fit any type of narrative, but to fit the time constraint. His program is divided into 3 parts; the first is quickly going over some highlights of the past week, the second is to have a longer segment on something in recent news, and the third is a much longer segment that a lot of the times is something happening that the US doesn't know is happening (either globally or nationally like an insurance scam of some sort).

Great Cast

Judy Grier, Aubrey Plaza, and Natasha Lyonne all do a phenomenal job both as standalone actors and as an ensemble in this movie. The humor is incredibly dry, and at times very dark, so it may not be...
