A bit of the origial Gunnm is back and the rounder and clearer art starts to work on me but this third series still retains too many tics from Last Order.
Between the fact Kasei Senki is the part where I'm finally starting to tolerate the smooth/rounder style of modern Kishiro (who goes even further than in LO) and that the 3rd to 6th or 7th volumes (from memory), the Muster quest, was actually fun and delivering something different from what we had been receiving for a while, I can say without a doubt I preferred this third manga to the previous one despite the ugly (and pretty stupid) origins given to Gally, wich in the end do sound faithful in tone to the original manga.
Parenthesis, short or spanning several chapters, are becoming the main appeal of this saga, used by Kishiro to tell any story coming to his mind.
Overall score: 6/10
Next: Yoko and Erika's adolescence learning or working for this crazy martial artists organisation (like what we saw in early chapters) ? If it goes on for a few manga like that, this will become taxing...
